| Darren got job offer (WAPOL) on 29 Nov 2007.Had medicals 2 weeks later. Completed E47 visa application just after medicals. Medicals all clear, visa and all other docs sent off via Fed Ex and rec'd by DIAC last week in Feb. Visa granted 5 weeks later. Wow, how fast is that! |

| I (Claudia) am 35 and Darren is 38. We have 6 & 7 year old children. We love the outdoor lifestlye and hope that Oz will give us the opportunity to do things all year round. Charlotte loves horse riding and we all love swimming and the beach. We love having get togethers with other families in our spare time. Darren is starting on 24th September with WA Police department and will be based in Mirrabooka, we hope to live in a nice suburb within a 10 - 15 mile radius but not yet sure exactly where??!! like many We have never been to Australia, this is an adventure for us. We made a pact at the beginning of this quest that if we ever got cold feet about emigrating we would stick to our motto "If we don't go we'll never know". We are having a good few months in Perth before Daz begins work and by the sounds of it that will be useful to get the kids into school and find a rental property. |
